Die THE NEW ROSES Geschichte begann 2013 im beschaulichen Rheingau.
Mit dem Titelsong ihres Debütalbums „Without A Trace“ landeten Timmy Rough und seine Mitstreiter auf der Compilation der US Kult Biker TV Serie „Sons Of Anarchy“ und lieferten damit auch den Song für die „Sons Of Anarchy“ DVD Trailer-Kampagne in Deutschland.
Seitdem ging es stetig nach oben, die Band spielte in den darauffolgenden Jahren hunderte von Shows im In- und Ausland, signte einen Deal bei Napalm Records (Universal) und veröffentlichte bisher weitere 4 Alben, die sich allesamt hoher Chartsplatzierungen erfreuten. Das 2019er Album "Nothing But Wild" mit dem darauf enthaltenen Rockradiohit "Down By The River" erreichte #10 der deutschen Albumcharts!
Musikalisch sind THE NEW ROSES ein explosiver Sprengstoff, der sich an Vorbildern wie Guns N´Roses, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Metallica oder auch The Black Crowes orientiert, aber das in einer ganz eigenen Machart.
Dieses musikalische Konzept macht THE NEW ROSES zu einer der wenigen deutschen Rockbands der Gegenwart, die auf internationalem Boden stattfinden.
Ihre Tourneen führte die Band u.a. zu den größten Festivals in Europa wie Hellfest (FR), Sweden Rock" (SE), Hard Rock Hell (UK), Masters Of Rock (CZ), Rockfest Barcelona (ES), wo sie sich mit Größen wie Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions, KISS uvm. die Bühne teilten.
Letztere luden THE NEW ROSES wiederholt zu ihrer KISS Kruise (als einzige deutsche Band ever!) nach Miami sowie als Special Guests für eine ganze Reihe Shows ihrer "End Of The Road" World Tour ein. Weitere Highlights waren Konzertreisen nach Russland (2019) und nach Afghanistan (2017), wo die Band im Camp Marmal (Mazar-e-Sharif) für die internationalen Streitkräfte der Mission "Resolute Support" auftrat. 2022 und 2023 standen ganz im Zeichen des neuen Albums "Sweet Poison", welches erneut die Top 20 der deutschen Albumcharts erreichte. Seit der Veröffentlichung des neuen Longplayers touren THE NEW ROSES praktisch ununterbrochen. Seien es Shows mit KISS, Headliner Touren, Touring in UK, Skandinavien, Benelux, der Schweiz und Österreich, sowie eine immense Zahl an Festivals über ganz Europa. Im Mai haben THE NEW ROSES ihr neues Album fertiggestellt, welches im Herbst 2024 veröffentlicht werden wird. Im Rahmen der Albumveröffentlichung werden THE NEW ROSES im Herbst sowohl national wie auch international touren. Bis dahin sind THE NEW ROSES noch auf einer ganzen Reihe von Festivals zu sehen. Die Zeichen stehen auf Sturm!

The THE NEW ROSES story began in 2013 in the tranquil setting of Rheingau, Germany.
With the title track of their debut album Without A Trace, Timmy Rough and his band colleagues landed on the compilation of the US cult biker TV series "Sons Of Anarchy" and thus also provided the song for the "Sons Of Anarchy" DVD trailer campaign in Germany.
Since then, it´s been nothing less than a steady climb to the top. The band´s played hundreds of shows in their home country and abroad, signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records (Universal), and released another 4 albums; all of which enjoyed high chart positions. The 2019 album Nothing But Wild, with the rock radio hit "Down By The River," reached #10 in the German album charts!
Musically, THE NEW ROSES are an explosive force, taking their cues from idols like Guns N'Roses, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Metallica and The Black Crowes, but doing it in a very unique way. This musical concept makes THE NEW ROSES one of the few contemporary German rock bands to play on international soil.
Their tours have taken the band to the biggest festivals in Europe such as Hellfest (FR), Sweden Rock (SE), Hard Rock Hell (UK), Masters Of Rock (CZ), and Rockfest Barcelona (ES), among others, where they shared the stage with greats like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions, KISS and many more.
The latter repeatedly invited THE NEW ROSES to their KISS Kruise (as the only German band ever!) in Miami, as well as, special guests for a whole series of shows on their "End Of The Road" World Tour.
Other highlights included concert tours to Russia (2019) and Afghanistan (2017), where the band performed at Camp Marmal (Mazar-e-Sharif) for the international forces of the "Resolute Support" mission.
2022 and 2023 were all about the new album “Sweet Poison”, which once again reached the Top 20 of the German album charts. Since the release of the new long player THE NEW ROSES have been touring practically non-stop. Be it shows with KISS, headliner tours, touring in the UK, Scandinavia, Benelux, Switzerland and Austria, as well as an immense number of festivals across Europe.
THE NEW ROSES have just finished working on their new album, which will be released in Autumn 2024. As part of the album release THE NEW ROSES will tour nationally and internationally end of the year. Until then THE NEW ROSES can still be seen at a number of festivals.
